The Cub Cadet 782 and 782D were produced during the early 80's (1980-1985 and 1984-1985 respectively) but can still be found running strong in many neighborhoods. The 782 featured a 2 cylinder 17hp Kohler KT-17 engine while the 782D (for diesel) featured a 3 cylinder Kubota D600-B producing 15hp.
The 782 is a hugely popular model with hobbyists and those who love restoring old lawn tractors. The tractor was well built and parts are still widely available even 25 years after production stopped.
